The Forest & I

“As a child I would run to the forest every chance I had. From behind, I would hear my mother scream, ‘Lord, what has happened of him, he is not going to make a livelihood, what do I do with this Junglee!’. But I found happiness in the forest, chasing after butterflies and dears. I would return home dirty but satisfied to face mother’s wrath. At night I would still dream of the forest and the trees. Today, I come with my animals here, the grass is fresh and I know they like it here too.” (Lother, Makawanpur)
