Earrings

“I look after the animals all day. There are not many people to talk to in these hills. Sometimes, I smile at the tourists and they talk to me thinking I speak their language. Some ask me directions when they think they are lost. But this is the first time someone has taken my picture. I fail to understand what in my face makes you want to take my picture but do get these earrings. These are from Kathmandu.”
