"What will a simpleton tell you about life, Babu. I know only of my family and of the animals. I have not seen the things they say are in the world. The days are spent in my village. With my parents when I was a girl, and with my husband and children after marriage. And with these mute animals. There has been difficult times and some happy times. But I have no complaints in life. The animals graze on the same grass all day but I do not see them complain. I think they are just happy to eat the grass. I am living and I am happy to be alive. Babu, what did we bring, what is ours to take?” (Padam Pokhari, Makawanpur)
