"My father worked as the messenger for the villagers, they call such person a "Katuwal". After he passed away I was appointed the Katuwal by the village committee. My work involves walking around the village and shouting out news and details of events happening in the village. And also delivering letters that arrive from the post office. I remember 39 years ago when I started, I used to make NRs. 65/- and now it is NRs. 4000/-. I am getting old and I am tired. Tired of a hard life and tired of shouting."
