"Twenty years ago, I fell down from a three storey building and broke my back. My lower body lost all senses. After the operation and several years of rehab, I could slowly walk. I work as a chauffeur for a travel company and everything was going okay. But that is not the whole story, there is more. Seven years ago, my wife also fell down from a three storey bulding and broke her back. She shattered here backbone and unfortunately she could not recover and she is confined to a wheel chair. I have a son and a daughter. All our hopes are on them. Sometimes we sit and talk about our eventful lives. She says, 'You went through a lot, I went through a lot, you must be tired.' I tell her, 'It’s okay, I love you and I am happy we are together.' " (Jitu Karki, Kathmandu. Met him in Nuwakot)
