"Every time he leaves with his boat, I worry. The water is not a friendly place to be. And there are too many people fishing. The water has become dirty and he does not always come home with a bucket full. Sometimes it is barely enough to eat. We have discussed about him going to India to find work but he tells me he will do something here. He tells me he does not want to leave his family and give up fishing. This makes me both happy and sad. Sad because of what might happen. Happy because he is a husband who wants to live close to family, when many have already left."
