"When I was small, I was a fast kid. I would run for miles and wouldn't even sweat. No other kids dared compete with me because they knew they would lose. During winter, while everyone covered themselves in rugs and clothes, the cold wouldn't touch me. I was strong and I was proud. But today, I am old and waiting. I can't even walk without resting every few minutes. Every night I go to bed, a strange kind of fears grips me. And in my dream I shout and wake up sweating. And sometimes, my wife tells me I laugh. Maybe I am dreaming of my childhood days, when I was small and fast." (Jiwan Mahato, Meghauli, Chitwan)
