“I was born with problems in my legs. And when I was growing up I broke both my hands. The doctor put a rod inside one. I also have a slow mind. Sometimes I don’t know who I am talking to and what I am talking about. Right now I know but sometimes I don’t. I also went to school for a while but the teachers there didn’t like me so I left. I had to do something that would occupy my time, but there is no work for people like us. So I started carrying weights. Did I tell you I had problems with my legs? I can only carry weights as long as someone helps me place it on my back. And as soon as I am standing I can walk for hours. 50 kilos, 60 kilos, all day, no problem. I also distribute newspapers around the village once every week. Working makes me feel good. Today, I am not working.
