“Father did not send me to school. He sent me after the animals. My youth was spent doing only that. I got married and I am still running after the animals. Occasionally I find work and that is the only time I see money. My husband has left for the city to find work. He only sends money twice a year. It is hard for me to manage. I do not own property and neither does my husband. However, I pull here and I pull there. I push here and I push there. And I send all three of my daughters to school. I want them to live a life of happiness, the life I did not see. I do not want them to spend their lives running after the animals. You see, poor old father never sent me to school. He sent me running after the animals.”
