The Teacher that loves Nature

April 18, 2017

“I am the youngest of all the siblings and everyone loves me – all my brothers and sisters. When there is no homework I come to the garden to help my sisters pick tea. However, when I grow up I want to be a teacher. Recently, my teacher took us to a picnic and everyone was happy. When I become a teacher, I will also take my students out of the class in nature and make them happy.” (Dipika Rai, Fikkal, Ilam)

Ranika-Pariyaar1To sustain Stories of Nepal and to continue my journey to share stories, I have set up this donation page. I hope you will consider donating. The donations raised here will be used mostly for my travel. It will help me reach more places and share more stories of us Nepalis. Having covered over 35 districts, I have plans to cover stories from many other places and districts of Nepal, thus bringing back stories for all of us. Thank you.

Charitable donations are essential to the Hawaii Performing Arts Festival. Without generous, sustained support, the festival would be unable to help talented young artists from Hawai’i attend the festival each July in Waimea. Please help us give the gift of a musical career to a young artist. (Note: The Hawaii Performing Arts Festival is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization; donations are tax exempt.)
