“In the morning as I was leaving, when my son came up to me, put his school bag on the floor and said, ‘Mother, I don’t want to go to school’. I put the basket in front of him and told him he could go sell peanuts instead. He quickly picked up his bag and left.”

Ranika-Pariyaar1To sustain Stories of Nepal and to continue my journey to share stories, I have set up this donation page. I hope you will consider donating. The donations raised here will be used mostly for my travel. It will help me reach more places and share more stories of us Nepalis. Having covered over 35 districts, I have plans to cover stories from many other places and districts of Nepal, thus bringing back stories for all of us. Thank you.

Charitable donations are essential to the Hawaii Performing Arts Festival. Without generous, sustained support, the festival would be unable to help talented young artists from Hawai’i attend the festival each July in Waimea. Please help us give the gift of a musical career to a young artist. (Note: The Hawaii Performing Arts Festival is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization; donations are tax exempt.)
